Today we are going to be talking about the super cute, and perfect for little hands, CUPS!
One feature that I really like about the cups is that there are measurement lines on the side of the cup. The measurements are in ml and oz so you can know how much liquid your Little is getting.
The bottom of the cup has a different design to it also. It’s not a suction cup, it doesn’t stick to the table. However, it does have a lower center of gravity (you can see that in the picture above, the “center” of the cup is real low), and that ring around the bottom there allows the cup to slide when the child pushes it, rather than falling over and spilling. AWESOME for this no-mess mama!
Little Man is able to easily hold the cup with two hands and drink. He loves that he has a cup with no lid! He thinks he’s such a big boy! (Shhh! Don’t tell him, because I don’t want to admit it to myself, but I think he’s a big boy too! ) He did spill the water when he was drinking because he’s not entirely used to a cup with no lid, but it’s not a cup malfunction thing, that’s a learning thing for Little Man. The cup is a perfect size for him. He usually “drinks” (actually drinks about half and spills down into his bib half) 2 cups with his meals. But I wouldn’t want the cup to be any bigger because I think it’d spill easier and be less easy to hold for tiny hands.
Just like I said before, this cup is very spill resistant! Little Man has put that to the test a few times! But, rather than tipping over when he pushed it, it just slid across the table and stayed standing! LOVE THIS!! What a great anti-mess feature!
As hard as it is, our children grow up. they don’t nurse forever, they don’t use bottles forever, they don’t even use sippy cups forever. Eventually they need to learn how to drink out of a cup with no lid. Why not learn from a cup specially designed just for little kids in mind?! I highly recommend this cup!!
